And suddenly we're rolling.

What a feat of technology to launch me into this environment. Thanks to Pelican, I was able to set up this server within just a few hours. Initially, I had planned to spend a weekend building my own solution, but then I had a fantastic idea: I decided to fork the fuzzy notepad instead.

See, Eevee has been an inspiration for me for some time now, in multiple ways. She's talented in her work and she's also openly Furry. Turns out she mainly used Pelican to generate her blog, and thus, instead of running a modified version of her notepad, I instead decided to use Pelican directly. I am not fully happy with the theme yet, though.

There are a few reasons as to why I decided to start writing this blog, but probably the biggest one is that my university, CODE University, accepts a well written, factual and up-to-date blog for assessment. But this should also become a guide for the people who run into similar problems I have and will run into.

There will be three main topics which I will talk about in this blog, the first one, and probably the biggest one, is going to be programming or Computer Science, another one will be mental health, whether personal or philosophical, and the third topic will plain and simply be Furries. I don't expect anyone to stick around and read my entries for all three of these topics. It's just that all of these topics are things that concern my day to day life, and thus things I feel (or should feel) comfortable talking about. That'd be good Praxis.

Now, let me also finally introduce myself: I'm Praxis. I picked that name because of its definition:

Praxis, noun

practice, as distinguished from theory; application or use, as of knowledge or skills.

In my personal life, I've been noticing that I exceed in theory, but I am often lacking in practice. To give you an example: I theoretically know how to make a full-fledged game, but I just don't do it. Even though there is a big part of me that wants to do it.

Practice is scary.

Doing things is scary.

I chose Praxis so that I may push myself to do more things. More things, like a blog for example.
